Preghiere d’offerta del cibo

Al prezioso Buddha, guida impareggiabile,

al prezioso Dharma, rifugio impareggiabile,

al prezioso Sangha, liberatori impareggiabili:

offriamo ai tre gioielli del rifugio

questo cibo dalle centinaia di sapori,

appetitoso e ben preparato,

al Conquistatore ed ai suoi figli offriamo con fede.

Per via di questo possano tutti i migratori

avere ricchezze,

e gioire del cibo della concentrazione.

Vedendo questo cibo come se fosse una medicina,

lo assumano senza attaccamento né avversione,

non per ingrassare, non per orgoglio,

non per sembrare più in forma,

ma solo per sostenere il corpo.

KYOB PA LA MED DAM CHO RINPOCHE

To the unsurpassable Protector, the Precious Dharma.

DREN PA LA MED GEN DUN RINPOCHE

To the Unsurpassable Savior, the Precious Sangha.

KYAB NE KON CHOG SUM LA CHOD PA BUL

I offer to Three Supreme Sources of Refuge.

CHED NAM CHOD JIN SOL WA TOP PI THUI

By the power of this prayer and hymn of praise.

DAG TSOK GANGDO NI PI SA CHOG DER

May I and all others, wherever they may be, in every direction of the earth,

NAY DON OL PONG THOB ZOD SHI WA DANG

have all our poverty, illness, obsessions and wars pacified.

CHE DANG TASHI PEL WAR DZAY DU SOL

And may the holy Dharma and good fortune increase without end.

 

Offro questo cibo per il beneficio di tutti gli esseri senzienti

E, ricordando la gentilezza di chi ha contribuito alla sua produzione,

Lo mangerò con gratitudine, consapevolezza e senza attaccamento
